Highly recommend! Have been trying to get a reservation here for quite awhile and a spot finally opened up! Limited spots as it is a small space. You are given a paper to mark down your order and it is freshly made right in front of you. Very cool experience. It is obviously pricey, but if you like sushi I feel like it is worth it for the quality.

We were lucky enough to get a reservation for edoboy on a Saturday for before a soccer game. I am so incredibly impressed by this place. It's definitely small, and you all stand around the area where everything is prepared, but I loved watching the chefs work with the fish. We had a friendly host who did a great job explaining the whole process to us. You're limited to 12 pieces, and I know that sounds like it's not enough food, but it's totally enough. I got a miso soup, a full 12 pieces, and a caviar bump. I also indulged in a can of their sake. Their miso soup was pretty epic. My favorite bites were probably the scallop uni and the yellowtail. When I inevitably return because this place is amazing, I will probably skip the hand rolls because they didn't necessarily deliver the bang for their buck. I also tried the sweet shrimp because I'd never had raw shrimp, but I found it a little sweet for me. That'll be a skip next time for me, but it was definitely worth trying. I loved the ikura too, and next time I'll probably get some more tuna next time since I only had the fatty, but the lean looked amazing too. They also have house pickled ginger which is awesome. I know this place can seem intimidating with their exclusivity, but I promise you that it's worth it. I'm excited to go back soon!

Very cool experience. We came with a party of four and there were two parties of two on the other end. One couple was celebrating an anniversary, and they displayed an anniversary message on the vestaboard. The sushi was all very fresh and tasty. The chefs were very focused and paid great attention to detail. We all built our custom menus and when our chef was done, he went to help the other chef with his orders. My brother ordered the matcha smores. I had a bite and it was surprisingly good even though I'm not a huge fan of smores. It had a strong matcha taste and was melted to just the right amount of creamy.

This standing sushi bar concept delivered the best hour of fresh food! I went a la cart with a few pieces of sushi and a few hand rolls. Thankful they have a limit or I would have engorged myself. The flavors are outstanding and very complimentary of the seafood. Both fatty and lean cuts to give variety. Staff is so knowledgeable helped make excellent recommendations. They have a few options for sake, went with a cloudy cold sake that had great citrus notes! Make sure to end the meal with the miso soup, it's fantastic! The special dessert was a strawberry matcha s'more and that was a nice treat!

It's a yes for me! Edoboy is the perfect spot for the omakase-lover who wants a set or tasting on the regular with all the quality, service, and experience but not the hefty price tag. If you've checked out a few reviews, then you already know about the reservation-only policy, 12-piece max, and one-hour time slots, so let's get into the food. Since it was my first visit I opted for the Everyday Set and added on a few torched pieces to max out my selections and that was a good choice. Some highlights were the Aka Ebi (sweet red prawn w. uni butter), Sake-kewpie, Sea bream, and hamachi. I should also note that we celebrated my mom's birthday and they were super accommodating to a special request. They also went above and beyond, posting a special bday message for her. 11/10 recommend!

Would highly recommend. However, it is very difficult to get in due to their limited space. I ordered the full menu plus a couple extra add-ons. Was definitely worth it.

I've been to my fair share of omakase spots, but EDOBOY probably ranks in the upper tier in terms of service and quality. They are a reservation only restaurant with limited seating, so set your alarms so you don't miss out on this gem! You can choose a max of 12 pieces here - for the best deal, I recommend getting the Everyday set (which comes with 8 pieces) and ordering more of whatever piece you like. The fish quality was amazing and some of the pieces just melted in your mouth. My favorite piece was the Hotate-kewpie (scallops and mayo) - I ordered this 2x because it was soo good. The vibes were pretty intimate because of the small dining area, so this is a great place for a group outing or date night. There's plenty of parking outside the restaurant, which is a huge plus considering the area. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in town.

There's nothing I can add here that others haven't, but if you there are any reservations you have about checking out Edoboy, let them go and make a reservation here immediately. I've never had a bad meal here and have tried all of their set menus -- the value you get here is amazing. The quality of sushi is literally unmatched and is consistently amazing. The standing bar isn't for everyone, but you honestly don't even notice because the food is just that good. 100% recommend

All I can say is...wow. Tell me why this was better than some $300 omakases I've had. At $5-$10 per piece, this place is a STEAL for the quality of the nigiri. I'll start with the reservation details. They drop every Monday at 12PM. If you're looking for a weekend night dinner, you'll have to be on top of the reservations right when they open on Resy. I went on a Monday night and was able to secure a spot for two simply a couple days before. The accolades brought me to EDOBOY: Michelin guide and the only Orlando restaurant to make it to Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024. Coming from California and being seasoned traveler to Japan, my expectations were kind of low. We turned into this super dark, sketchy parking lot in what seemed like a residential area. It looked like a restaurant shouldn't belong there. Walking in, the place was quaint...like a slightly cluttered room with a simple sushi bar in the middle. No theming or aesthetics. The fact that the entire meal is standing also initially put me off. However, I came to appreciate the casual atmosphere and the prices on the menu reflected this - everything was very affordable and priced the same as a typical nigiri you might find in any casual Japanese restaurant. You must eat at least one bite to fully appreciate how DELICIOUS the sushi is here. The fish quality is insanely good. Between my fiance and I, we tried the entire menu - raw nigiri to uni to temaki hand rolls to torched nigiri. EVERYTHING was so insanely good, even the s'mores matcha dessert (chocolate and marshmallows made in house). EDOBOY skips a lot of the froufrou nigiri preparations you might see at some other omakase restaurants (like smoking the fish tableside or 50 year aged whatever). Instead, they rely on really bold flavors and sauces that somehow accompany the sashimi without overpowering the piece. The balance is amazing. You're limited to 12 pieces during your reservation. I ordered 9 pieces because I was honestly not that hungry. However, at the end of the 9 pieces I ordered 3 more! It was THAT good. Anyway, if you're still thinking about if you should eat here...stop it. Just make the reservation. Best sushi in Orlando hands down.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing restaurant like Edoboy in Orlando! Its an 8 person standing sushi bar and is relatively affordable for what you get! I paid about $60 for everything and loved every single bite! The service is top tier and the chefs are such artists at what they are doing! I can't rave enough about how much I enjoyed this meal and I can't wait to go again one day!
